No 1 in the world - Rock School (Trinity Guildhall) is a graded syllabus that is practical and relevant to the music of today.

Its syllabuses are designed to develop a whole range of skills that reflect the realistic requirements of being a musician in today’s world.

Unlike many other music exams, candidates can even perform a piece of their own choosing from outside the syllabus books - perhaps the Kaiser Chiefs, The Arctic Monkeys or Radiohead - giving the candidates exciting and endless possibilities!

Timmy Lai has been performing since age 5 and by 14 years old he has written his first song. Full fledged guitar fanatic at age 16 and now a recording artist, sessionist, lead guitarist of “seven.eighthertz” and a zealous teacher.
